The ICH NGO Forum has opened a call for candidates to sit on the 2021 ICH NGO Forum Election Board. Applications must be submitted before 31August 2021 midnight.
The ICH NGO Forum Election Board is responsible for organizing and overseeing elections for the ICH NGO Forum’s Steering Committee, which take place during the annual sessions of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage. The next meeting, 16.COM, will be held in Colombo, Sri Lanka from 13 to 18 of December 2021.
According to Article 20 of the Bylaws, rules and procedures concerning the work of the Election Board “are described in the document ‘ICH NGO Forum Steering Committee: Mission and tasks of the Committee; General profile of members of the Committee and election process’”, which is available on the Forum’s website at the following link: www.ichngoforum.org/ich-ngo-forum-steering-committee-rules-procedures.
The primary role of the Election Board is to implement the following :
- Launch the Steering Committee elections in September 2021 for the four following electoral regions: Eastern Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, Arab States, and Africa;
- Ensure an open and transparent online process for the call and the submission of applications;
- Submit the profiles of the candidates to all NGOs;
- Organize the elections at 16.COM.

Appel à candidatures pour le Conseil électoral du Forum des ONG du PCI 2021
Le Forum des ONG du PCI a ouvert un appel à candidatures pour le Conseil électoraldu Forum des ONG du PCI 2021 (à envoyer avant le 31 août 2021 minuit).
Le Conseil électoral du Forum des ONG du PCI est chargé d’organiser et de superviser les élections du Comité de pilotage du Forum des ONG du PCI, qui ont lieu pendant les sessions annuelles du Comité intergouvernemental pour la sauvegarde du patrimoine culturel immatériel. La prochaine réunion du Comité, 16.COM, se tiendra à Colombo, au Sri Lanka, du 13 au 18 décembre 2021.
Conformément à l’article 20 des statuts, les règles et procédures concernant le travail du comité électoral « sont décrites dans le document « Comité directeur du Forum des ONG du PCI : mission et tâches du comité ; Profil général des membres du Comité et processus électoral », disponible sur le site Internet du Forum au lien suivant: www.ichngoforum.org/ich-ngo-forum-steering-committee-rules-procedures.
Le rôle principal du Conseil électoral est de mettre en œuvre ce qui suit :
• Lancer les élections du Comité de pilotage en septembre 2021 pour les quatre régions électorales suivantes : Europe de l’Est,Amérique latine et Caraïbe, États arabes et Afrique;
• Assurer un processus ouvert et transparent en ligne d’appel et de soumission des demandes de candidatures ;
• Soumettre les dossiers des candidats à toutes les ONG ;
• Organiser les élections au 16.COM
