As part of UNESCO/EU’s NET-MED Youth Project, UNESCO is launching a Call for Action aimed at supporting youth-led interventions for the protection and promotion of cultural heritage.
The selected actions should advance youth’s effective participation in the protection and safeguarding of tangible and intangible cultural heritage, as well as the promotion of cultural diversity, as a pillar of the fundamental right of freedom of expression and as a vehicle to prevent violent extremism and bolster peace and cohesion in the region.
