#HeritageAlive has been publishing articles on a variety of themes concerning intangible cultural heritage (ICH) safeguarding since 2012. At the 12th Session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage (12COM) in the International Convention Center Jeju, the book entitled Traditional Medicine: exchange of experiences from the field, was launched with cooperation between ICHCAP and #HeritageAlive.
Following its success, the publication launched a call in 2018 for more articles on the topics of Woodcarving and Traditional food. The overwhelming response of articles detailing the diversity in the work of accredited NGOs and the communities they work with will be presented by #HeritageAlive Editor, Eivind Falk, in Mauritius on Tuesday 27th November, 13:00-14:30.
