Hawker Culture reflects a living heritage that resonates with people from all walks of life in Singapore. In celebration of the successful inscription of Hawker Culture onto the UNESCO Representative List of Intangible Cultural Heritage, the National Heritage Board will be organising a webinar series on Hawker Culture.
This second and final session of the webinar series explores the relationships between Hawker Culture and Social Spaces in Singapore, and how they can play a role in promoting community identity and fostering inter-cultural understanding and appreciation in Singapore’s context.
The webinar will be hosted on Zoom, and each speaker will deliver a 20-minute presentation and share their research insights on Singapore’s Hawker Culture. This will be followed by a panel discussion and a Q&A session. The webinar is free and open to all.
