The webinar ‘Monitoring Living Heritage in Education: Contributing to Heritage Safeguarding and to Achieving SDG 4’ takes place on 26 January, 2021, 13.00-14.30 CET. The webinar is organized by UNESCO, hosted by the International Information and Networking Centre for Intangible Cultural Heritage in Asia-Pacific Region under the Auspices of UNESCO (ICHCAP) and sponsored by the Cultural Heritage Administration of the Republic of Korea (CHA).
This event is organized with the aim to raise awareness for the benefits and challenges of monitoring living heritage in education by sharing the results from the previous online expert meeting on ‘Education-related indicators in the Overall Results Framework for the 2003 Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage and their relationship with SDG4’. The webinar will feature experts from around the world who will share their experiences in integrating living heritage in education and discuss through a panel the benefits of this intersectoral monitoring. The webinar will be available in English, French, Spanish and Korean and viewers will be able to ask questions and contribute their ideas through a zoom live chat.

Le webinaire ‘Suivre et évaluer le patrimoine vivant dans l’éducation : contribuer à la sauvegarde du patrimoine et atteindre l’ODD 4’ a lieu le 26 janvier 2021, de 13h00 à 14h30 CET. Le webinaire est organisé par l’UNESCO, accueilli par le Centre international d’information et de mise en réseau pour le patrimoine culturel immatériel dans la région Asie-Pacifique sous l’égide de l’UNESCO (ICHCAP) et parrainé par l’Administration du patrimoine culturel de la République de Corée (CHA).
Cet événement est organisé dans le but de sensibiliser aux bénéfices et aux enjeux du suivi et de l’évaluation du patrimoine vivant dans l’éducation en partageant les résultats de la précédente réunion d’experts en ligne sur ‘Les indicateurs liés à l’éducation dans le cadre global de résultats (CGR) de la Convention pour la sauvegarde du patrimoine culturel immatériel et leur rapport avec l’ODD 4’. Le webinaire réunira des experts du monde entier qui partageront leurs expériences en matière d’intégration du patrimoine vivant dans l’éducation et discuteront, par le biais d’un panel, des avantages du suivi et l’évaluation intersectorielle.
